Collection

Any operation involving the collection of waste for transport to a waste treatment facility.

Waste

Any substance or object, or more generally any movable property, which the holder disposes of or intends or is obliged to dispose of.

Waste holder

Waste producer or any other person in possession of the waste.

Disposal

Any operation that is not recovery, even when the secondary consequence of the operation is the recovery of substances, materials, products or energy.
