3. How can we control risks to avoid a crisis?

Among the possible causes of a crisis, some, such as natural hazards, are not always controllable. In such cases, the crisis management plan is very important, as it will enable us to respond as effectively as possible to the crisis situation and limit its impact.

Other possible causes of a crisis are controllable. It is therefore important to identify and put in place the means to avoid their occurrence.

3.1 Prevention

Prevention encompasses all the actions and resources put in place to limit the appearance of a risk that could cause damage and lead to a crisis situation.
