5. Our advice

5.1 Contact the SPPPI or S3PI in your area

If it exists in your area, the SPPPI or S3PI is a consultation and information body bringing together economic players, local authorities, associations, employee representatives and the government. It's essential to be aware of its objectives and priorities, and to take part in its work. First and foremost, it enables you to meet representatives of the public authorities in a different context from that of monitoring your plant. It also provides an opportunity to exchange views with other operators, and to benefit from information resulting from shared experience. Finally, the work of the SPPI or S3PI can lead to action plans, and it's useful to have been involved in drawing them up in a collegial, consultative framework.
