1. What is CoDERST?
The CoDERST is the Conseil départemental de l'environnement, des risques sanitaires et technologiques. It is a departmental administrative body, which exists in each departmental prefecture (police prefecture in Paris).
1.1 Identify CoDERST missions
CoDERSTs are tasked with assisting the departmental prefect (the police prefect in Paris) on issues relating to public policy in the fields of environmental protection, sustainable management of natural resources and the prevention of health and technological risks.
