5. Our advice

5.1 Check that the chosen organization is still accredited.

Accreditation in the field of conformity assessment is always issued for a limited period. Throughout its accreditation, the body is regularly assessed and, at the end of the accreditation period, it undergoes a renewal assessment.

You can check whether an accreditation is valid with the relevant ministry (e.g., the Ministry of Labor) or with CoFRAC (French Accreditation Committee).
