Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

A method for quantitatively assessing the environmental impacts associated with a product, process, or activity by measuring resource consumption and emissions throughout its life cycle.

Exergetic analysis

A quantitative assessment method that involves calculating the exergy flows within a system.

Checklist; checklist

A qualitative evaluation tool in the form of a list of criteria, expressed as statements or questions to which the evaluator must respond with a score or a yes/no answer.
