Ecodesign

It involves integrating the environment right from the product design phase, whether for goods or services. This integration is based on a global, multi-criteria approach to the environment, taking into account all stages of the product life cycle.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA); Analyse du cycle de vie (ACV)

Overall assessment of the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle, i.e. from the extraction of raw materials, through manufacturing, transport and use, right up to end-of-life treatment. It quantifies material and energy consumption and emissions at each stage of the life cycle.
