high entropy alloy; alliage à haute entropie

Multi-component alloys, where each element is highly concentrated, or in other words, where the distinction between majority and minority elements is no longer relevant.

substitutional solid solution; solution solide de substitution

Crystalline phase in which two or more elements randomly share lattice sites.
