3.1 Keep proof of your advisory services

Whether you're a principal or a subcontractor, to minimize the risk of cross-liability, it's a good idea to keep a written record (correspondence and e-mails exchanged, for example) to provide evidence that both parties have properly fulfilled their obligations to provide information and advice.
