4. Supporting your employees

Implementing PLM is a long and ambitious project. That's why it's important not to neglect how it will be received by end-users, and to prepare them for change as effectively as possible.

4.1 Training/information

Throughout your integration project, you need to make your employees aware of the benefits of a PLM approach. This starts with information (explaining what PLM is and what it's used for), followed by training on the tool (how they will work from now on). You can create tutorials to support them in their daily tasks, to familiarize them with the new tool, and organize parallel workshops on issues resolved thanks to PLM: configuration management, requirements management...
