1.1 Product concept
The Petit Larousse defines "product" as :
that which arises from an activity of nature or man (e.g. products of the earth, products of labor);
production from industry, agriculture, services, etc. (e.g. petroleum products);
every item, object, good or service offered on the market by a company.
If we analyze these definitions, it becomes clear that a product refers to articles, objects, goods or services, and that these are the result of natural or human activity. Extrapolating, we can say that their use has a beginning (putting the product into service) and an end (recycling or waste, for example).
