5. Mistakes to avoid

Learning about innovation issues and methods is often highly enjoyable. On the other hand, it's particularly common to be reluctant to implement an innovation tool or technique, especially when it involves a workgroup. In fact, within his company, an engineer may be frustrated or timid in several ways: "I can't see how to implement it..." or "they won't let me..." or "I'll look ridiculous". In the end, we find that the rate of use of innovation methods is quite low, and the rate of training retention just as low, despite the positive testimonials of the early days.

Here are a few tips:

  • Ridicule doesn't kill, especially when the performance is top-notch.

  • So don't hesitate to experiment, but do it properly (respect the stages, be serious and get the participants involved) and make the...
