bibliometrics
Analysis of textual information, correlation of information.
cluster
Statistical grouping of bibliographic references, for example, according to the frequency with which certain terms appear in them. The result is a variety of groups, depending on the statistical treatment chosen (e.g. principal component analysis).
Elaborate information
New information obtained from the statistical processing of a set of data (e.g.: group of bibliographic references).
benchmarking
Comparing, for example, the expertise of different authors, or the research focus of different institutions. For authors, it is obtained by a matrix correlation between the author field and the keyword field, for example.
