1. Study the information surrounding the new product

In most cases, the innovative design process begins with the identification and formulation of the concept, based on an idea, a particular need or a change in the context of use. Next, we seek to visualize the product, i.e. to specify its characteristics through the use of graphical representations, model building or computer-aided design tools. This enables us to specify the product's configuration, size, functionality or personality. Finally, materialization through a prototype confronts you with choices of materials and processes that will enable you to validate or refine the initial concept.
