At a time when the Group's French subsidiary had to take into account and integrate the various components of the strategic plan in a significantly changed context, a survey on employee commitment and the exercise of leadership had been commissioned by the Group for all its subsidiaries worldwide. Carried out at the end of 2012, it showed that the results for the French subsidiary were extremely poor on both counts. The Chairman was at a loss to understand these results, despite the fact that he had initiated changes in team leadership to move away from the authoritarian management of his predecessor.
