3. Avoiding malfunctions when choosing an actor for a project

The choice of actors is crucial to the success of a project, influencing the entire life of the project and the design of the product itself. The challenge is to offer help in making the right decisions regarding the choice of actors, in order to improve design decisions.

The SACADO decision-making aid is based on two components: a target process (see figure 2), to be followed in order to avoid malfunctions, and an actor selection sheet to help approach the target process and capitalize on the process and the decision taken.
