4.1 Be rigorous when writing complex queries

From the simple search, you can combine the different operators, for example: intitle:énergie statistiques filetype:pptx OR filetype:pdf site:gouv.fr OR site:insee.fr. Be particularly rigorous in your wording, and pay close attention to the order of the terms and the OR operator. A poorly constructed query can lead to zero results (if you omit the OR between filetype:pdf and filetype:pptx, for example) or, on the contrary, to numerous irrelevant results (if you put in too much OR).
