2. Find and locate theses
Recent theses are listed on the Thèses portal. Its search engine lists all doctoral theses defended in France since 1985. A simple Google-style interface facilitates rapid searching. Facets can then be used to refine results by year, institution, doctoral school, discipline, subject area and language. Digital theses are indexed in full text.
For older theses, the most comprehensive repository is Sudoc (Système universitaire de documentation). To target the search, check "theses (defense version)" in the "publication type" section of the advanced search interface (eventually, all these theses will be integrated into the Thèses...
