2. Knowledge and innovation

The sharing of knowledge and the development of interactions between the various economic players in a given region are essential to the dynamism of the innovation process. The dynamics of creation involve knowledge, creation, innovation and markets. At local level, the intensity of creativity and innovation depends on a dynamic process that encompasses all these elements. Indeed, innovation at the level of organizations (in all sectors of the economy) feeds in part on the creative activities (cultural, artistic, technological...) of the individuals living in the area (city, region). Similarly, innovative ideas and best practices developed and marketed by organizations (firms, universities, etc.) can then be transformed, improved and redeployed by communities.
