1. The I2I method: principles and objectives

The video game sector, whose production costs are now reaching those of the film industry, has structured and formalized its approach to new product development. This is not yet the case for the development of systems using Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. The I 2 I method is designed to guide the designers of such systems, enabling them to create the product that best meets the needs of future users, while respecting the best balance between costs, deadlines, quality and innovation.

We propose a method for designing an innovative system that effectively simulates certain aspects of the real world for the user, under optimum conditions of cost, time and quality.
