7. Conclusion

It's common knowledge that the future challenges facing industry require a robust and dynamic educational base. The world of academia provides the theoretical foundations of new knowledge linked to the evolving needs of industry, while the consulting world transposes some of this knowledge, often present only in the form of theory, into methods and tools whose pragmatic use enables industry to acquire new practical skills. TRIZ and its theoretical postulates, along with its techniques, methods, tools and knowledge bases, are no exception to this rule. For this reason, many recommend that TRIZ communities rebuild its fundamentals towards greater simplicity, but without departing from the precepts that make TRIZ a unique theory which, in its current incarnations, brings so much to those who accept to dedicate time to its learning and implementation.
