8.1 Don't think that filing a patent is the only way to protect your invention.

A patent is a special title that meets specific conditions. Filing a patent on an unpatentable invention may result in your invention being disclosed and ultimately rejected as unpatentable.

Before opting for a patent application, it is essential to ensure that the invention meets the required conditions, and if not, to turn to other means of protection.
