5.1 Pre-audit questionnaires

During the audit preparation phase, the audit team will need to gather a certain amount of information in order to best define the audit agenda and logistics, as well as to research the site's sector of activity and any applicable regulations.

The use of a pre-audit questionnaire ensures that the information collected is exhaustive. It can include general questions about the site being audited (address, size, opening hours, etc.), but also more specific questions which will help define the audit agenda best suited to the site's specific characteristics (stages of production processes, equipment, summary of analysis results, details of discharges, waste management, etc.).
