Data collection involves identifying existing documents, analyzing them and carrying out the following tasks:
proposed layout, existing plans (1:25,000 site plan, 1:5,000 site plan, 1:2,000 cadastral plan), maps at various scales, etc. ;
environmental study: description of current site conditions and photographs, landscape, climatological, hydraulic and hydrological analyses... ;
situation with regard to current land use ;
any easements ;
