A health phenomenon is defined as a change in a parameter related to a person's health, in the broadest sense of the term (infection, immunization, functional or organic change, biological change, accident, etc.).

A health phenomenon depends on many parameters. Some are biological or genetic, and concern the personal characteristics of individuals taken independently of each other. Others depend on behavior, and mainly on the relationships between individuals themselves, or between individuals and their environment (natural, social, economic).
