The market for nanomaterials in oncology depends on the applications that will be assigned to them in the near future. It also depends on the price of these materials, since the investment and operating costs to be borne by the various healthcare systems will be significant in their various applications.

  • The heating of glioblastoma cells, for example, is an important market given the prevalence of this pathology (4.5/100,000). All glioblastomas may be amenable to treatment with magnetic nanoparticle heating, given the limited effect of chemo- and radiotherapy on this tumor
