2.1 Film-based systems
This century-old technology is still in use, particularly in Asia, which explains why we're talking about it here. Another reason is that generations of radiologists have been trained using films that have left a lasting imprint on image quality "standards" in radiography. Of course, film cannot be used for fluoroscopy, unless a 35 mm camera is placed at the exit of an IIR, which has long since been abandoned.
