5. Conclusion

Dispersions are systems that need to be formulated with a particularly rigorous methodology, due to their metastability and the large number of states that are accessible to them. A reasonable approach is to build a physical model for the properties of dispersions in their various states, and then identify their degradation mechanisms in each state, as well as the conditions under which these mechanisms are triggered. This method can help to obtain truly innovative formulas.
