Rheological agents

Products used to stabilize an emulsion.

Applicant

A natural or legal person who files a patent. Usually a company, but can also be the inventor if the patent is filed in a personal capacity. Not to be confused with inventor.

Patent family

The same invention can be protected in different countries. In this case, the patents have different numbers. This set is called a family. If there is no patent extension, the family is reduced to a single unit. This is why, in a patent search, the number of patents searched is always greater than the number of families.
