10. Storing electricity and thermal energy

Energy storage is the weak point in the energy sector. However, it is of great strategic and economic importance. While 85 g of petrol contain 1 kWh, it takes around 25 kg of lead-acid battery to obtain the same energy, and 3,600 L of water at a height of 100 m to obtain 1 kWh by turbining it.
