5. Conclusion

While many of the breakthrough technologies developed for aerospace (materials, processes, modeling, imaging, on-board systems, etc.) have been transferred to terrestrial applications (energy, automotive, healthcare, etc.) in recent years, terrestrial industrialization technologies and processes are now being integrated into aerospace developments. It's an industrial revolution in the same way as automation in aeronautics has already been adopted in the automotive industry. This revolution now applies to energy storage, which has become necessary for key aircraft functions, and which is already benefiting from developments in land-based electric vehicles. These more robust terrestrial technologies still need to be made more reliable and secure to meet the requirements of aeronautical standards.
