Production, composition and physico-chemical properties of alternative jet fuels

The processes used to produce alternative synthetic jet fuels are generally the same as those developed to produce alternative diesel fuels, as the physico-chemical characteristics of these two types of fuel are quite similar. Most of the processes developed to produce alternative diesel fuels are therefore capable, with a few adaptations, of producing alternative jet fuels, and vice versa.
