2.1 Volume and mass
In a traditional approach to retrofitting an existing aircraft, it seems logical to place the tank in the rear section of the fuselage, which will then be entirely dedicated to this function. We will see that this is also the most realistic solution in terms of center of gravity, since in all cases, the standard wing offers insufficient volume for hydrogen.
The determining factor for the size of the tank is its volume, which is determined by the mission to be performed.
