7. Mistakes to avoid
7.1 Accreditation is not the only proof of competence
Don't be fooled into thinking that a calibration carried out by a non-accredited laboratory, but which has the resources, methods and competent personnel, is not as credible as one carried out by an accredited laboratory. The difference will be shown on the calibration certificate issued by the accredited laboratory, which will bear the logo of the accreditation body.
