Implementing a dematerialization approach is an ambitious project that cannot be undertaken by the quality manager alone. It is essential to integrate IT and users into a working group.
Users will be able to provide feedback during implementation, and become first-level trainers once the solution has been installed; IT will be responsible for the solution's accessibility, validation and maintenance. Please note that under ISO/CEI 17025, the IT solution will become a critical piece of equipment, which will have to be managed as such, with a life cycle file.
You'll also need to establish clear rules and a usage policy with, for example, a position on printing. These decisions must be taken jointly by the group before the roll-out of dematerialization.
