1. Understand the difference between empirical and theoretical probability distributions

By observing a large sample of dice rolls, a specific empirical law (i.e. one based on experimental observations) was observed. By dividing the size of each class by the total number of values in the sample, the histogram is expressed as a frequency (see figure Example of a histogram).
