In order to meet the objectives of legal metrology, the French government has implemented a system of controls that can be applied from design to use, throughout the life of the instruments.
These operations are described at décret n° 2001-387 du 3 mai 2001 and arrêté du 31 décembre 2001 . Their terms of application (periodicity, participants, tolerances to be respected, etc.) are described in the categorical decrees....
