 INTRODUCTION

Structured quality control, essential for evaluating a method, is based on rigorous statistical foundations, enabling the laboratory to meet the dual requirements of fidelity (random error) and accuracy (systematic error). The role of a card is to detect drift.

According to ISO 3534-2, a control chart is "a graph on which the values of a statistical measurement made on a series of samples are plotted in a particular order to orient the process according to this measurement and to control and reduce variation".
