1. Choice of NF EN ISO 9001 standard

The standard NF EN ISO 9001:2015 is an organizational standard. Following this standard guarantees efficient and effective operations, whatever the field of activity.

The 2015 version of the standard puts the QMS at the heart of the laboratory's strategy. This new version requires less documentation. The procedures of the 2008 version are no longer mandatory. The standard emphasizes continuous improvement, communication and risk management. To the notion of "customers" is added that of "relevant interested parties".

It is important to adapt the QMS to the specific needs and resources of the organization. In this way, the QMS is an aid to management. Management will use it as a management tool. Researchers will see it as a tool for conducting research projects. All...
