7.1 Don't let statistical tests decide for you

Don't let statistics decide for you! They are a decision-making tool. Analysis and interpretation are essential in all cases. In C2I, hypothesis testing can help you pinpoint where you need to look, but it doesn't "tell" you anything more than that. The results must be analyzed in the light of the hypotheses accepted and the choices made at the outset. At the end of each test, it's up to you to interpret the results and draw conclusions.
