3.1 The benefits

  • This accreditation is good for the company's brand image, as it can highlight this label in its communications to market the products it manufactures, in the same way as it highlights its ISO 9001 certification.

  • The hierarchy is "secured" by the fact that the COFRAC authorities guarantee the quality and technical nature of the work carried out in the company's laboratory.

  • Auditors, e.g. those auditing the company as part of ISO 9001 certification, are satisfied with testing activities without asking questions relating to this chapter.
