2. What should a test report contain?

Clauses 5.10.2 and 5.10.3 of NF EN ISO 17025 are very clear on what a test report should contain. We will therefore summarize these two paragraphs to define the contents.

Each test report must include the following information:

  • a title: test report ;

  • the name and address of the laboratory where the tests were carried out;

  • a test report identification number ;

  • customer's name and address ;

  • identification of the method used ;

  • date or period of testing ;

  • test results ;

  • deviations from the test method used ;

  • if there are measurement results, an estimate...
