5.1 Choose a test laboratory based on its skills

Don't be fooled into thinking that a test carried out by a non-accredited laboratory, but possessing the resources, methods and competent personnel, doesn't have as much credibility as a test carried out by an accredited laboratory. The difference will appear on the test report issued by the accredited laboratory, which will bear the logo of the accreditation body. However, in the case of a non-accredited laboratory, it is often important to verify its competence for yourself.
