5. Mistakes to avoid

5.1 Don't compartmentalize risk management

The main pitfall to be avoided in risk management is to compartmentalize the organization in relation to the general organization of the organization's activities. It is also important to prevent the organization's directors and managers from withholding information on risks and the control measures put in place to deal with them, in order to avoid counter-productive situations (for example, an operator applying an operating procedure without understanding the associated risks).
