 INTRODUCTION

The aim of this article is to represent the frequency response of a sampled linear system using various diagrams.

As in the case of continuous linear systems (article Frequency study of continuous systems , in the present treatise), we seek to represent the open-loop frequency response.

We mainly use Nyquist or Bode diagrams (§ 2 and 3 ), although under different conditions, linked to the particular form of the sampled transfer functions.

You can also use the root locus technique 4 .

In all cases, the characteristics deduced from the various locations can be used to express open-loop and closed-loop system performance.
