5. Conclusion

Hybrid dynamic systems are used in many sectors of industry, but also in transport and other human activities. A HDS is a system comprising a time-continuous part and an event-driven part. Although the presentation of SDHs in this article does not claim to be exhaustive, it has shown that the field of hybrid systems is a broad and open one. By its very nature, it draws on results from the automatic control of continuous and discrete-event systems, as well as from computer science, to study solutions to problems linked to the complexity of the systems to be controlled or modeled. The application of SDH theory to the operational control tools and resources available in the industrial world will enable us to improve the safety, performance and development techniques of real systems.
