6. Software tools and benefits

This section is dedicated to the CONTSID software library, which brings together various continuous-time parametric model identification algorithms. After a brief presentation, the main advantages of these approaches are summarized.

6.1 CONTSID software library

While many software packages are available for discrete-time model identification techniques, no tool existed for continuous-time model identification. With this in mind, we decided to create a Matlab toolbox called CONTSID (CONtinuous-Time System IDentification)
