This section presents two case studies illustrating the application of the continuous-time model identification algorithms available in the CONTSID software toolbox. The first example is a multivariable dynamic system corresponding to a material web winding unit reproducing certain control problems in the paper and metallurgy industries. The second problem concerns the determination of kinetic models in cell biology.
