Summary and conclusion

The introduction of an operating aid system in the operator station inevitably has (and must have) an impact on driving. Indeed, an operator in charge of running a process constructs his action through the representations built by the "specialized artifact", the "system of physical symbols" generally referred to as the operator station. This explains why any project aimed at transforming this station, for example by introducing advanced functionalities, inevitably leads to an evolution in the driving situation itself, as the operator "intelligently" adapts to the new representations proposed.
