 INTRODUCTION

In microrobotics, the measurement of forces arising from the world of micrometric objects is a major scientific issue. Because of the scales involved, and the expected measurement resolutions, the design and production of high-performance force transducers comes up against a number of difficulties. Solving these problems by proposing new design concepts is one of the current challenges facing microroboticists.
